Introductory course on childbirth

Capiaumont's course consists of forty lessons and describes the different phases of childbirth and the difficulties that may arise therefrom. It was designed for midwives and surgeons. The manuscript of this book is stored in the library. The first edition was released in 1775. The digital edition dates back to 1782 and is a newer edition of Henri-Joseph Hoyois (1749-1785), a printer active in Mons from 1772 to 1783.
