Registration of Non-EU Students

Online Application Form

Deadlines:

  • Non-EU students in Belgium who require a student visa: 30th April 2016
  • Non-EU students who do not require a visa and who have graduated from school no later than July: 31st August 2016
  • Non-EU students who do not require a visa and who have graduated from school in September: 30th September 2016

To be able to register at UMONS, you must make a formal application via the Online Application Form. This document must be signed, dated, printed off, and sent to the Registration Office which will, along with the Faculty concerned, accept or refuse your application.

You must also detail your financial arrangements.

If your application is accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter and will be required to pay supplementary tuition fees.

N.B.:

Please be aware that the system of Higher Education in force in your country may mean that your years of study are only partially recognised and that you may be offered a different programme from the one you originally requested.

Once these supplementary fees have been paid, you will be sent the documents required for a visa application. If you do not require a visa, payment of these supplementary fees must be made no later than the day of registration (payment made by debit or credit card is possible). For assimilated students, official documentation attesting to assimilation must be provided on the day of registration (see Assimilation Criteria).

Refusal of registration will be sent by email. Refused applications will not be reviewed, and they cannot be modified in any way. A new application may be submitted, as long as the deadlines for submitting an application  are met.

Submitting a new application does not apply to refused applications if the amount outlined in the financial plan is insufficient. In this case, new applications will be ignored.
