Georges Kouroussis (service de Mécanique Rationnelle, Dynamique et Vibrations – Prof. Verlinden) a reçu le young researcher best paper award de la "Thirteenth International Conference on Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering Computing'2011" (CC2011), qui s'est tenue à Chania (Crète, Grèce), du 6 au 9 septembre.
L'article concerné s'intitule "Prediction of Environmental Vibrations Induced by Railway Traffic using a Three-Dimensional Dynamic Finite Element Analysis" by G. Kouroussis, L. Van Parys, C. Conti and O. Verlinden.
