As a competence centre on autism, the "Service Universitaire Spécialisé pour personne avec Autisme (SUSA)" plays a major role in the introduction and the diffusion of current concepts and intervention tools on autism, both in French-speaking Belgium and abroad.

For many years, SUSA has developed a set of trainings for parents and professionals.

Trainings are programmed and organized by the SUSA in its buildings or at the time of residential stays (parents training ).

Various topics:

• Accreditation of social roles;
• individualized interventions and projects;
• educational interventions for people with autism;
• assessment of people with autism;
• communication: initiative and spontaneousness;
• awareness of social, emotional and sexual education,…
