You have finished your secondary studies in Belgium

If you have finished your secondary studies in Belgium and you wish to register on a Bachelor’s programme in Engineering, you must take and pass the entrance exam.

You have finished your secondary studies abroad

If you have finished your secondary studies abroad, or if you are in your final year of secondary school in an EU country, please consult our webpage for information on the entrance exam.

If you have finished your secondary studies abroad, or if you are in your final year of secondary school in a non-EU country, you should check that you fulfil the criteria to complete the UMONS admissions procedure. Once you have made your admissions request and received your acceptance letter, you can then go in person to the Secretariat of the UMONS Faculty of Engineering or the Registration Office in order to register for the entrance exam.

You have finished your higher education in Belgium

If you have a qualification from a Belgian post-secondary institution or university and you would like to follow basic or complementary studies in Applied Sciences, you should consult the Admissions Service’s Qualifications obtained in Belgium webpage.

The Faculty of Engineering offers the possibility of studying for a Master’s in Computer Engineering and Management through evening and weekend classes. This course, taught in Charleroi, is accessible to Civil Engineers, Industrial Engineers, Commercial Engineers, Agricultural Engineers or holders of a Bachelor’s degree in Science. This programme is geared towards adults already in employment, who already hold a degree from a university or higher education institution, and who wish to acquire IT, organisation and management skills which are considered indispensable in many business sectors.

The Faculty of Engineering is the only institution in Belgium to offer an Engineering degree which focuses on the three core skills of IT, organisation and management.

The course is aimed at Engineers who have at least 3 years of professional experience. The courses and timetables are adapted to best suit students’ professional and personal lives.

You are registered at a post-secondary institution or university abroad and you would like to participate in a student exchange programme

This will be the case if your institution has a partnership agreement with the Faculty of Engineering for one of the following exchange programmes: TIME (Top Industrial Managers for Europe - Double Degree Network), Socrates/Erasmus, CREPUQ (exchange programme with universities in Quebec, Canada).
For more details, you can go to the International Relations Office of your own institution to find out if an exchange programme with the Faculty of Engineering is possible, and consult the UMONS
