Admission onto Specialised Master programmes (2016-2017)

Please note: for admission onto the Specialised Master’s in Risk Management and Well-Being in the Workplace, please apply using the specific form below.

Application submission deadlines:

  • Belgian higher education graduates in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: 30th September 2016 for those who have graduated in September 2016
  • EU students: 30th September 2016 for those who have graduated in September 2016
  • Students who are not residents of Belgium and who need a study visa: 30th April 2016
  • Non-EU students who do not require a visa: 30th September 2016 for those who have graduated in September 2016

 

Entry Requirement for Specialised Master programmes

Students who fulfil the entry requirements and have either a Master’s degree awarded by a university in or outside of the French Community or a qualification that accounts for at least 300 credits validated by the Board, can be admitted on a Specialised Master’s degree programme at UMONS.

Applications for admission onto the Specialised Master’s in Risk Management and Well-Being in the Workplace must be made using the specific form here.

Registration of Belgian and EU Students

Prior to registration at UMONS, you must submit an application via the Online Application Form. This application form must be printed, signed and dated. It will then be sent to the appropriate board for examination. If your application is accepted, you will receive a letter of acceptance.

Once accepted, you will be required to go to the Registration Office in person between 25th June 2016 and 31 October 2016 to confirm and finalise your registration at the University.

If your application is not accepted, you will be notified by email.

Registration of Non-EU Students

Prior to registration at UMONS, you must submit an application via the Online Application Form. This application form must be printed, signed and dated. It will then be sent to the appropriate board for examination.

You must also detail your financial arrangements.

If your application is accepted, you will receive a letter of acceptance and you will be required to pay supplementary tuition fees.

Once these supplementary fees have been received, you will be sent the documents required to apply for a visa.

If no visa is required, the payment of supplementary tuition fees will be due according to the provisions outlined in the Study Regulations (payment by debit or credit card is possible).

Assimilated students must provide proof of assimilation on the day of registration.

If your application is not accepted, you will be notified by email.

Registration upon arrival at the University of Mons:

 

Upon arrival in Belgium, and once the admissions procedure has been completed, you will need to make an appointment with the Registration Office by email or phone in order to confirm and finalise your registration at the University. You will be required to go there in person with the following documents:

  • Your valid passport/identity card
  • Your residence permit (if you already have one)
  • A medical certificate from your doctor confirming that you are fit to undertake university studies
  • Originals of all the documents in your application file
  • Proof of payment of supplementary tuition fees, or, if necessary, documents proving assimilation.
