The University of Mons organises entrance examinations for Bachelor Degrees in accordance with the law.
This examination is intended for students who do not possess the necessary qualifications but who nevertheless wish to undertake University studies.
Any student wishing to register for a Bachelor’s degree must have a recognised qualification to be eligible for admission to the Universuty of Mons.
If you do not meet the Entry Requirements, or if your School Leaving Certificate is not equivalent to the Belgian C.E.S.S. granted by the Ministry of the French Community of Belgium, you can take the general examination for admission to a Bachelor’s Degree course.
N.B. Students from non-EU countries may only take this examination if they have previous authorisation to register. To obtain such permission, an application must have reached the Registration Office by the deadline stated on the application form, and all other admissions criteria must be respected.
The Entrance Examination for admission onto Bachelor degree programmes include the following subjects: French and Mathematics. One of these subjects will be tested in depth.
Students must then choose 4 of the following subjects: a second foreign language (Dutch, German, English or Latin), History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry or Biology.

Students who are required to register for the Entrance Examination, please go the the Registration Office.
Students coming from non-EU countries must send their applications directly to the University of Mons in order to obtain permission to register for the Entrance Examination.
The cost to take the Entrance Examination for admission onto University Bachelor degree programmes amounts to €132.
