Examinations

Assessments and Accumulation of Credits

  • At the end of each term, students are assessed on the Teaching Activities (AA) organised during this period
  • Presence at all examinations held in January is mandatory.
  • In June of the first year, students can resit any failed examinations taken in January.
  • Credits are awarded on successful completion of a Programme Component (UE).
  • All Teaching Activities (AA) of a Programme Component (UE) must be passed and validated for the credits of the Programme Component to be awarded.

The pass mark is set at 10/20 for Programme Components and an average of 12/20 is no longer required.

After obtaining at least 45 credits from the first block, students register for at least 60 credits per academic year. Bachelor programmes are divided into 3 blocks of 60 credits that are offered to students by default. Upon approval from the Board of Examiners, it is possible for students to customise their individual programmes.

Please consult the rules and regulations here, regarding Degree Programmes, the Board of Examiners, and examinations.
