The Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, with its excellent teaching reputation, is well-known for its multidisciplinary scientific research conducted at an international level and ranging from basic research to applied biomedical research. New labs focusing on toxicology, pharmaceutical analysis and cancer cell biology, have recently been added to the Faculty, complementing other fields of expertise such as molecular imaging, electrophysiology or molecular biology.
The Faculty brings together researchers from many different disciplines (biologists, chemists, doctors, pharmacists, physicists. etc.), underlining the trans-disciplinary approach needed to translate scientific discoveries into practical applications.
