The Centre for Microscopy and Molecular Imaging (CMMI)

As a partner of the HEALTH Institute, the CMMI was established on account of the financial support of the European Union and the Région wallonne (Belgian regional government) thanks to the European Fund for Regional Development projects (FEDER). Founded by the Académie universitaire Wallonie-Bruxelles, the CMMI brings together the expertise of the researchers and academics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and UMONS to provide an integrated and efficient preclinical imaging platform for the scientific community.

The CMMI Research facilities have state-of-the-art equipment and offer cutting-edge technologies for imaging, ranging from electron microscopy to in vivo animal imaging. The Centre is responsible for providing services and training for academic laboratories as well as industrial partners.
