Educational Resource Centre for Social Action - CREAS

With financial support provided by the European Social Fund (ESF), CREAS was created in September 1995 by a joint initiative between the Mons-La Louvière Sub-regional Committee for Employment and Training, the former University of Mons-Hainaut (UMH) and Education et Famille, a non-profit association. Today it is well-known to psychological and educational practitioners, to whom it offers a broad range of training activities and methodological support. CREAS’ action is designed to encourage social and professional integration of people exposed to exclusion due to various social, economic and cultural difficulties. With this in mind, CREAS aims to strengthen the professional competencies of project leaders and coordinators, social workers, psychologists, volunteers, teachers, education specialists and socio-educational contributors involved in individual, social or community development projects.
