Set up in 2004, the Erasmus Belgica programme is an initiative encouraging the mobility of higher education students within the three Communities of Belgium. It relies on a partnership between the Flemish Community, the French Community and the German-speaking Community.
- Give higher education students (in universities or other higher education institutions) the possibility of doing part of their study programme within a recognised institution of another Belgian community, or of undertaking a traineeship there;- Give them an opportunity to have a cross-linguistic and cross-cultural experience in another Belgian community; - Give them the possibility of experiencing another study environment, another living environment and of being confronted with unknown habits.
Under certain conditions, a mobility grant can cover some fees. Follow this link to learn more about “Mobility grants”.
